When’s the Right Time for Bathroom Breaks While Watching The Flash?

The Flash has many moments you don’t want to miss; in fact, it’s filled with them. Missing out even for two minutes might mean you missed the big villain reveal, the multiple cameos, or the iconic lines. However, when nature calls, you’ve got to answer! So, when’s the right time to take bathroom breaks during the film?

You obviously can’t wait until the film’s end since its runtime is nearing the 2.5-hour mark. Popcorn and soda refills over discussion-filled intervals might make you miss your chance for a quick visit to the bathroom during the intermission. Though you don’t want to miss out on anything, there are some filler scenes during which you can rush out of the cinema.

For your convenience, I’ll list all the scenes where you can take a bathroom break without fearing missing out on a crucial scene that will interrupt your flow – no pun intended.

When’s the Right Time for Bathroom Breaks While Watching The Flash?
Michael Keaton as Batman in The Flash
  • At fourteen minutes, Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne stops for a quick breakfast. If you’re not too keen on seeing him munch on his important meal of the day, take your leave discreetly.
  • At 27 minutes, as Bruce Wayne drives away, you too can sneak to the bathroom to excuse my crude language, unload.
  • At 41 minutes, the rain is coming down during the storm, which gives Barry his powers. You should head to the bathroom before all that water triggers you.
  • At 47 minutes, the future Barry fills in 2013 Barry about his powers. We know Flash’s capabilities – if you don’t want to miss a recap, head to the washroom.
  • At 58 minutes, 2013-Barry visits his roommates, which contributes to the comedic parts of the film, so it’s more of a filler and thus avoidable.
  • After the one hour and ten-minute mark, there are a few scenes which you can catch up with your friend at intermission without guilt-tripping yourself.
  • The montage scene right after Michael Keaton’s Batman says, “Let’s get nuts,” is the optimal time to take a quick detour to the bathroom.

Two Flashes and One Supergirl

If you can indeed hold out till the end of the film, you can slip to the bathroom while the credits are running but be sure to rush back to the theater for the post-credits scene where…I’m not telling you!
