Exploring Red Rider’s Fate from Accel World

Accel World has such an immersive world that it gets any anime fanatic and gamer hooked into its universe. 

One such aspect of it is the legions, each distinct from the other in battle prowess and strategy. 

There are Six Kings of Pure Color at present. However, in the Red Legion, Prominence, there is a second Red King, Kouzuki Yuniko, known as “Scarlet Rain.”

Fans ponder what happened to the first Red King, “Master Gunsmith.” In this article, we will be exploring his fate. 

1. What happened to Red Rider Accel World?

Red Rider, or the first Red King in Prominence, was executed by Black Lotus (kuroyukihime) in the Mutual Non-aggression Pact meeting as she was terrified of the gun’s destructive power Red Rider was offering to all the kings. 

Along with the fact that she had a strong desire to reach level 10. 

When all the Kings of Pure Color had reached level 9, they made a peace treaty known as the “Mutual Non-aggression Pact” to avoid fighting, as they all shared a bond.

Red Rider made 7 guns for each King however, before distribution, the White King (White Cosmos), who happens to be the Black King, Kuyukihime’s elder sister in real life, demonstrated the power of the guns.

The guns were so powerful that they blew off a significant area of the duel field in a jiffy.

Kuyukihime was petrified of the gun’s power and didn’t want them to be distributed in case any of the Kings broke the pact, Accel World would be in a state of havoc and destruction.

She was hurt as she felt betrayed by Red Rider, with whom she had shared a close bond. 

Which is why she decided to execute Red Rider along with her reason to reach level 10. 

However, the tragic part of this incident is that Red Rider was innocent all along.

As after some time had passed, Kuyukihime still had the gun the White King had used to demonstrate its power. She decided to test it out, and the trigger wouldn’t budge.

In reality, these 7 guns were just peace offerings from the Red Rider; they never had any destructive quality to them. 

Kuyukihime had been manipulated by the White King, who had used her own abilities to destroy the duel field. 

In the end, Kuyukihime lost Red Rider and the trust of all the other Kings for violating the pact.
