Driving around the streets of Night City while listening to the radio can be a sort of cathartic experience in Cyberpunk 2077. A variety of cars can be purchased with V’s hard-earned pennies but there are some rides that can be obtained for free as well.

1Arch er Hella EC-D i360
The Archer Hella EC-D 1360 can be obtained early on in the game by completing Playing For Time quest in Act 2. It’s the first Main Job that V will receive in Act 2. There’s nothing special about this car, but it gets the job done at the beginning.
2Jackie’s Arch
Jackie’s personal ride is obtainable after completing the side quest Heroes, which is unlocked after finishing Act 1. You’ll be able to get this bike after the unfortunate passing of Jackie, which will lead to the Heroes side quest.
3Scorpion’s Apollo
This motorcycle can be obtained by completing the mission Life During Wartime during Act 2 from Panam as a reward.
4Arch Nazaré “Itsumade”
The Arch Nazaré “Itsumade” motorcycle will be added to your garage after completing The Highwayman side job.
5 Rayfield Caliburn
You need to complete Ghost Town, a main job available during Act 2, and have a Street Cred of 40 to get the Murk Man Returns Again Once More Forever side job. During this mission, you’ll be able to find this hypercar inside a container at the Raffen Shiv hideout with Panam.
6Thorton Colby CX410 Butte
Deemed as one of the worst free cars in the game, the Thorton Colby CX410 Butte can be obtained in Badlands on the east side of the map, near the Desert Film Set Fast-Travel Point.
The car comes in orange, which is free, and green, which can be unlocked for $25,000 on the AUTOFIXER netpage.
7Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech
This car will be added to your garage after completing one Gig and one side job – Life’s Work Gig and Sex on Wheels side job. Complete the Gig first to unlock the side job. You might be able to recognize this car as the one which V drives in the trailers for Cyberpunk 2077.
8Thorton Galena GA40XT “Rattler”
The Thorton Galena GA40XT “Rattler” can only be obtained in the Nomad Lifepath. You get the car after completing the side job These Boots Are Made For Walkin’ in Act 2.
9Thorton Mackinaw “Beast”
This vehicle is obtained after completing The Beast In Me questline during Act 2. During the final quest in this questline, when you get the option to either kill Sampson or spare him and convince Claire that it was the correct choice, choose the latter option. Choosing either will get you this car, however sparing Sampson will help you get another free car.
10Thorton Mackinaw “Demiurge”
This Monster Truck can be obtained in the following way:
- Beat the Arasaka Tower 3D Arcade Game at midnight and at 4 am
- Wait for the coordinates to go to
- At the coordinates, stand on a mattress for 7-8 minutes in real time
- A cutscene will trigger, after which you’ll get the car.
11Quadra Type-66 Cthulhu
Going back to the choice which you get in The Beast in Me side job during Act 2, opting to spare Sampson and convince Claire that it’s the right thing to do to get this car as a reward.
12Villefort Alvarado “Vato”
This luxurious and exotic ride can be obtained after completing Beat on the Brat: The Glen side job in Act 2. Complete this side job by defeating Cesar Diego Ruiz to get the vehicle.
13Delamain No. 21
Completing Don’t Lose Your Mind side job will grant you access to this ride. Choose the option to either reset Delamain or set the multiple personalities free to obtain this car.
14Archer Quarts “Bandit”
In the Ghost Town mission in Act 2, when you get the option to choose between Panam and going along with your original quest, choose the latter option to get this car for free.
15Thorton Mackinaw “Saguaro”
Once you’ve completed all the side missions from Dakota Smith, you’ll unlock the Every Grain of Sand quest, which gives you this car as a reward upon completion.
16Quadra Type-66 640 TS
Complete all the side missions from Dino Dinovic, to unlock the Gas Gas Gas quest which will reward you with this car inside the garage.
17Mizutani Shion “Coyote”
During With a Little Help From My Friends side job, choose the “Don’t wanna get involved” option and tell Saul about Panam’s plan to obtain this car from him.
18Porsche 911 II (930) Turbo
During the Chippin’ In side job in Act 3, defeat Jeremiah Grayson to get this car off of him. This car was previously owned by Johnny Silverhand in the 21st century.
19 Quartz Type-66 “Hoon”
This weaponized vehicle is a new addition to Cyberpunk 2077 after the 2.0 Update. To obtain this car, you need to head to a specific location in Watson, Northside.
Inside a warehouse, you’ll come across the car but it will be locked. Get the key by scanning the area inside the warehouse to find a loot box. Loot the key from the box to obtain this car.

20 Herrera Outlaw “Weiler”
To obtain this car, you need to do the following:
- Complete eight regular vehicle contracts given by Muamar
- Initiate the Baby Let Me Take You quest by talking to Muamar at Rancho Coronado Dam
- Steal a medical supply from Arasaka docks during the mission
- Upon completion, you’ll receive this car from Muamar
21Makigai Tanishi T400
Progressing through the Phantom Liberty DLC will get you the Makigai Tanishi 400. The Lucretia My Reflection quest will grant you this car upon completion.
22Quadra Sport R-7 “Charon”
Get to the I’ve Seen That Face Before quest to unlock another secret quest, known as Moving Heat, by eavesdropping on people inside the Quadra Sport R-7 “Charon” during the mission. Upon completing Moving Heat, you’ll be able to steal this car and make it yours permanently.
23 Quadra Sport R-7 “Sterling”
To get this car, you’ll need to complete all 10 of Mr. Hand’s Pacifica Gigs. One can be found in the base game, which is Two Wrongs Make Us Right, while the rest is found in the Phantom Liberty DLC:
- Gig: Prototype in the Scraper.
- Gig: Waiting for Dodger.
- Gig: Treating Symptoms.
- Gig: Dogtown Saints.
- Gig: Talent Academy.
- Gig: The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman.
- Gig: Spy in the Jungle.

Completing all 10 Pacifica Gigs will give you a side mission, known as Hi Ho Silver Lining. During this side mission, after a conversation with Mr. Hands, you’ll have access to this car.
