Maeve and Caleb arrive at Senator Whitney’s estate. Maeve turns off the security cameras and when the two approach Senator Whitney and his wife Anastasia, it’s revealed that they’re actually host copies. Maeve tries to control the robots but it turns out that her powers aren’t as effective on them. She scans through their memories and the two find out that William/Host William and Charlotte were behind this.

Meanwhile, Christina is still trying to wrap her head around the recent events that have taken place. She heads to work and has a strange experience on the way—a man shouts at her about ‘the tower’ and how no one can hear its music except him and ‘the birds.’ Christina gets even more spooked when she sees several dead pigeons outside her work building. She later learns that she did write a character named Peter whose story matches Peter’s description of his life.

The divergent Charlotte is revealed to have been using Host William to slowly replace important government officials with host copies. It is also revealed that she’s kept the real William alive. When the Vice President expresses that he’s opposed to Delos’ plans of launching a new theme park, Host William kills him and replaces him with a host copy.
