Walker Season 2 will return from its winter hiatus with Episode 7 on January 13. An official synopsis release hints at tensions rising between the Walkers and the Davidsons.
In the episode, Liam will make a false arrest on Dan Miller, which will only warrant more trouble. Miller has married into the Davidson family, and with the history of the two families feuding, this will add more fuel to the fire.
This move will also worsen the strain on brothers Liam and Cordell’s relationship.
Miller’s false arrest will prove to be detrimental to the Walkers in more ways than one, as Serano’s lawyers will use it to their advantage to set him free.
Here’s the synopsis of the episode, titled “Where Do We Go From Here”:
Things are still tense between 2 and Liam (Keegan Allen) after Liam called in a false warrant on Dan Miller (guest star Dave Annable). However, things take a turn for the worse when Captain James (Coby Bell) informs the brothers that Serano’s (guest star Henderson Wade) lawyers are using Liam’s mistake as a way to set the criminal free, putting the entire Walker family in danger.
Cordell continues to deal with the grief of losing his wife, Emily. While Season 1 gave him some closure in the form of finding out who pulled the trigger on Emily, it opened a whole new Pandora’s box.
Season 1 finale revealed that a mysterious person was stalking Cordell and his family, watching them through a hidden camera.
Cordell’s problems are only multiplying in Season 2: He is still investigating who ordered the hit on his wife. He’s also been a victim of attempted murder, on top of which he has to deal with animosity from Davidsons.
Although Cordell has grown more comfortable with life on the ranch, he has a lot of responsibilities to shoulder.
Along with anticipating the return of Season 2, fans can also look forward to a prequel for which Jared Padalecki has joined hands with the executive producer and showrunner Anna Fricke and her team.
The prequel titled Walker: Independence will follow Abby Walker in the 1800s. She is an affluent Bostonian whose husband is murdered in front of her while on their journey out West.
