This theory perfectly explains why Luffy could channel the power of Sun God Nika, who was renowned as the savior of slaves. It’s because Hito Hito no Mi resonated with his desire to liberate the people of Wano.

Besides, all dreams of humanity will naturally coincide at one point. Since there are no new dreams, it’s quite natural that no new Devil Fruits will eventually spawn.
