3. Recap of Episode 5
The episode 5, titled, “I Want to Meddle in My Friend’s Business,” begins with Shinichi dreaming about falling from a great height during his college lecture. Followed by Uzaki teasing him, as she saw him jerk and wake up.
Then we see Sakaki using Shinichi as an excuse to not go drinking with two girls.
Further we see them sitting in the food court drinking and Sakaki trying to convince Shinichi to get a girlfriend already. With his justification that these are the years of his youth and he must enjoy them.
No sooner Uzaki shows up and introduces herself to Sakai. Sakai upon seeing how well Uzaki and Shinichi bonded together he decides to help them end up in a relationship together.
Sakaki asks them about how far they have gone up till now and before he could ask too much. Shinichi takes Uzaki out to go get some ice cream. After they are gone, Ami and Sakaki get into an argument over Uzaki and Shinichi’s relationship.
While they were busy arguing, Uzaki gets offended when Shinichi says that her Choco mint ice cream must taste like toothpaste. She gave a full on zealous justification and explanation on choco mint and how it isn’t similar to toothpaste. Followed by surrounding people applauding her.
To which Shinichi replies by telling her about his traumatic childhood experience with the mint flavour which made him never try mint flavor again. Uzaki then makes him taste her choco mint ice cream by saying that sense of taste changes with age, without realizing it’s an indirect kiss!

It has been serialized through Niconico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website since December 2017 and collected in five tankōbon volumes by Fujimi Shobo as of July 2020.
