The second episode of Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! season 2 had a combination of cute and hilarious moments. Hana’s mother’s misunderstandings are really funny, especially in this episode.

Episode 2 Recap
Sakurai and Hana fall asleep together before class, and Sakaki shows a photo of them to Ami, who’s upset about not being there when that happened. Hana consoles Ami, and tells her they’ll hang out together now. They decide to go shopping.
Hana tells Ami she wants to buy a swimsuit, as she’s been in the pool with Sakurai a lot. The last time they swam together, he complimented her on her suit, and that’s why she wants a new one. Ami remembers she’d instructed Sakurai to do so, but doesn’t tell Hana that to ensure she remains happy.
Sakurai and Hana practice football together. They watch as a middle school team bully a bunch of college boys, despite being defeated. The college boys, Sasamoto, Kawakami, and Hamada, recognize Sakaki from the soccer mixer, but he doesn’t recognize them at first.
Sakaki taunts them for being too incompetent in entertaining the girls at the mixer that night. The college boys challenge Sakurai and Sakaki to a match. If they win, the college boys will pay their bills, but they must introduce Hana and Ami if they lose.
Sakaki borrows a middle schooler for their goalie. He plays pretty well, scoring against them 12-0, while Sakurai just runs around the court as he isn’t good at football. Sakaki tells Sakurai only to kick the ball towards the goal when it comes to him.
Sakaki focuses only on the ball, nothing else, and scores a goal with great strength. To his surprise, he knocked down the other players unknowingly because of his deep focus. Sakaki tells them to run for it since they won anyway.
The following day, Hana and Sakurai bicker as usual. She blushes as she remembers when he accidentally placed his head between her chest. At her place, he makes udon for her and her mother and gives them a large quantity of packed udon that he made.
Sakurai asks Hana’s mother to teach him something new to cook, but Hana criticizes his udon because each noodle is not the same size. He asks her mother to teach him to cut them properly, and she agrees.
Hana’s mother decides to fix their relationship after accidentally rubbing her chest on Sakurai and misreading his intentions. She asks Hana if anything unusual happened between them.
Hana incorrectly assumes that she knows about them sleeping next to each other in college, which makes her mother misunderstand and assume the two of them slept together and there’s a recording of it.
Sakaki makes udon perfectly, but Hana’s brother misunderstands who cooked it and thinks it’s Hana’s cute senpai. Hana greets Yanagi as she steps inside the house.
