Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is a quirky comedy about the relationship between a senpai and his kouhai. However, in this anime, the kouhai seems to have taken the responsibility of caring for the senpai.
Uzaki-chan, a boisterous young girl, decides that she will make her senpai more social. Sakurai, the unenthusiastic and introverted senpai, is the target of her plans. How will the cute relation between these two develop?
The official website of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! announced that a second season of the anime will be produced.
The final episode of the anime’s season one aired on 25th September, and the season two’s decision followed soon after.
Take, the author of the Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! manga, has posted an illustration to commemorate the anime’s second season.
Uzaki-chan’s voice actress, Naomi Ozora, has commented that she is happy about the anime’s second season.
She feels like the distance between Uzaki and Sakurai is shortening. Uzaki’s family is appearing more and more in the anime, which makes it lively.
Kenji Akabane, the cast of Sakurai Shinichi, commented that although it is a little bit annoying to play with Uzaki, he’ll keep trying his best for the upcoming season.
Season two of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! will have more of the annoying but cute antics of Uzaki. Although Sakurai was on the verge of confessing his love for Uzaki, he successfully evades her.
A new member of Hana’s family will be joining the anime, and we can’t wait to see what new developments the character brings. The festival arc will also be featured in the second season.
