Episode 6 of ‘Urusei Yatsura Season 2’ is titled “The Continuation of: That Mizunokoji Girl.” In this episode, Ataru plots on ways to marry Asuka.

Shutaro still thinks that the girl is actually just one giant robot. Ataru takes advantage of Shutaro and convinces him to run away. However, Ataru’s plan backfires because of Shutaro’s dad and Lum. Eventually, Asuka breaks out of her metal armor and shows her true form.

Extremely afraid of men, Asuka runs away from every man approaching her. Ataru and Shutaro desperately chase her down while she evades their traps.

2. Episode 6 Speculation

Ataru and Shutaro have both desperately chased down Asuka in a bid to get married. However, because of Asuka’s childhood, she is afraid of all men. Asuka has recognized Ton as her brother because of their similar eyes. Since Ton is the only man Asuka likes, she develops a brother complex.

The Mendo and Mizunokoji families now have a daughter with a brother complex. The marriage will likely never work, and the Mizunokoji family will begin to have the same dynamic as the Mendo family. Shutaro and Ton will likely develop a new friendship due to both their sisters being weird.

3. Recap of Episode 5

All the girls show up in wedding outfits to meet Shutaro. However, they’re all scared away when the huge Mizunokoji girl robot shows up. Shutaro wakes up from his nightmare determined to reject his future bride.

Lum fights off all of Shutaro’s assistants who are forcing this marriage. Ataru nods as they take away Mendo in a cramped box. Ataru tries to disguise himself, but he is immediately found out. Meanwhile, the Mizunokoji girl gets a presentation on what men are.

Ton’s parents meet with Shutaro’s parents as they enter the household. Asuka meets with Shutaro and his parents. Their meeting is interrupted by Ataru, who jumps onto Asuka. Asuka runs away in fear while Ataru chases her down.

Asuka breaks free of the armor and falls onto Ton. Shutaro finally realizes that there is a cute girl inside the armor. Asuka gets scared after learning Ton is a man and throws him away. After looking into Ton’s eyes, Asuka realizes he must be her brother.

Ataru continues chasing Asuka while she tries to evade both Ataru and Shutaro. Asuka’s guards manage to hit her with a tranquilizer. Eventually, Asuka wakes up chained up in the house. Both Mendo and Ataru are chained up to make Asuka feel safe.

Asuka’s mom tells Ton to watch over her and solve this situation. Lum tries to convince Asuka that men are not that bad, but it backfires. Asuka has developed a big brother complex after all that Ton did, although he denies it. Shutaro’s sister infiltrates the house and blows it all up.

5. About Urusei Yatsura

Urusei Yatsura is a manga series by Rumiko Takahashi. It has a total of 374 chapters and was published from 1978 to 1987. Its anime adaptation received 195 episodes from 1981 to 1986. A new anime adaptation with selected stories began airing in October 2022.

In the series, a humanoid alien race invades the Earth but agrees that if the protagonist wins in a game of tag, they will leave it unharmed. Ataru wins against the alien girl, Lum.

Lum misunderstands and thinks Ataru is proposing marriage, and starts living with him and joins his high school. Ataru is a trouble magnet and gets stuck in weird situations pretty often.
