Urusei Yatsura Episode 13: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Lum’s cousin, Ten, makes his appearance in episode 12 of Urusei Yatsura, titled “Ten is Here, A Date for Just the Two of Us.”

We got to see Lum’s cute little brother in this episode, and he is as mischievous as he is adorable. However, he is not quite fond of Ataru and always finds reasons to burn him.

This cute little baby falls in love with Sakura and takes her out on a date under Ataru’s guidance. His plan fails as Sakura is already engaged, breaking the poor boy’s heart.

Episode 13 Speculations

Ten will send a gift to someone (maybe Sakura) in episode 13 of Urusei Yatsura, titled “The Great off-campus Snack Battle, A Gift from Ten!!”

Lum, Ataru, Mendo, Shinobu, and their classmates, might indulge in some kind of snack battle. There are high chances of a new character showing up. I am excited to see what type of battle it will be.

Ten’s gift will be the center of attraction in the latter half of the episode. The gift might be for Lum or Sakura. Let’s wait and watch.

Episode 12 Recap

Ataru is quite annoyed by how fond his parents are of Lum and how they wish they had a girl. Lum’s little cousin Ten shows up in the mailbox, and Lum is delighted to meet her cousin.

Ataru, Lum, and Ten go to Sakura’s house, where Shinobu and Ran are also present. Ten throws fire at Ataru every now and then because he thinks Ataru is not giving Lum his attention.

Ataru attacks Ten, but Lum and Sakura help Ten get rid of Ataru. Ten falls in love with Sakura.

Ten writes a love letter to Sakura. Ataru is shocked to see him write to Sakura, but he gives Ten some advice to get along with Sakura. When Sakura receives the letter, she is enraged after reading some very weird and offensive lines in the letter.

She decides to meet the guy and beat him up. When Ten shows himself, she becomes helpless as she can’t hit a child. She decides to hang out with him.

He takes her to an erotic hotel, but she refuses to go in. He becomes upset that they are not going to places where he wants to. She decides to listen to him, and they go to the movie theatres to watch an adult romance movie.

Ten falls asleep, and Sakura catches Lum and Ataru in the theatre. Sakura beats up Ataru for manipulating Ten. Later in the park, Ten proposes to Sakura to marry him, but she reveals she is getting married soon.

About Urusei Yatsura

Urusei Yatsura is a manga series by Rumiko Takahashi. It has a total of 374 chapters and was published from 1978 to 1987. Its anime adaptation received 195 episodes from 1981 to 1986. A new anime adaptation with selected stories began airing in October 2022.

In the series, a humanoid alien race invades the Earth but agrees that if the protagonist wins in a game of tag, they will leave it unharmed. Ataru wins against the alien girl, Lum.

Lum misunderstands and thinks Ataru is proposing marriage, and starts living with him and joins his high school. Ataru is a trouble magnet and gets stuck in weird situations pretty often.
