Episode 12 Recap

Episode 12 starts with Usahara overhearing a conversation where Uramichi talks about leaving the company. His calm and callous expression makes it clear that he is dead serious about his resignation this time.

Usahara didn’t expect something like this even in his nightmares. Despite those funny little fights between them, Usahara has always seen him as a hero right from his college days.

He can’t even imagine a Together with Mama episode without Uramichi’s intro, and he realizes that he isn’t emotionally prepared for such a thing. We get to see flashbacks of the day when Uramichi met Usahara for the first time.

They came across each other just by chance, when Uramichi’s dorm was under renovation and he had to shift to Usahara’s room for a few days. This marked the beginning of a friendship that lasted for the years to come.

Unlike Kumatani and Usahara, Uramichi was very popular in his early days. Usahara was always jealous of Uramichi for impressing all the girls with his handsomeness.

Later, when Uramichi takes good care of Usahara during his injury, he realizes that looks and body aren’t the only thing special about Uramichi.

He reminded Usahara that even a simple injury could shatter anyone’s career, so he shouldn’t take it lightly.

Back to the present, Usahara summons up all his courage and asks Uramichi not to leave the company. Yet, Uramichi coldly rejects his request, breaking the hearts of all his co-workers.
