Episode 13 of ‘Undead Unluck’ is titled “Tatiana.” In this episode, the true strength of the little Russian negator is revealed.

Tatiana is not some cyborg dome but actually, a little Russian girl contained in a suit of armor. Nico had designed the armor since Tatiana’s barrier kept expanding over time. However, the compression of Tatiana’s barrier builds up the energy for a massive blast.

At the ship, Creed and Feng launch a barrage of attacks as they try to pierce Tatiana’s barrier. However, Tatiana uses this opportunity to release all her energy.

With Tatiana’s explosion, the ship has been split into two. However, Andy uses this opportunity to find Rip again. Since they’re both mid-air, Andy has the advantage since he can fly using blood spurts.

However, Rip does not seem unfazed by the developments. Latla also has an ability linked to fate, which has kept Rip immortal. Since both Rip and Latla are together, they will likely be unkillable. Regardless, Andy can use this opportunity to learn their abilities.

With Fuuko clinging on to Andy, a new surge of Unluck is also charging up. Once Andy can safely let go of Fuuko, he can try unleashing the Unluck on Rip and Latla.

Tatiana blocks all the Negator Hunter’s bullets and even manages to resist some grenades. However, a single kick from the other hunter makes a dent in Tatiana’s armor. Since Rip managed to inflict a wound on Fuuko, they need to kill the hunters within an hour.

When Andy first joined the Union, Tatiana challenged him to a duel to avenge Gena. The duel ended with Andy being naked as usual and Tatiana overheating. As a result, the Union revealed that Tatiana’s armor is actually something to restrain her true ability.

Nico tells Andy and Fuuko to escape the radius immediately, but Fuuko refuses. Fuuko clings on to Tatiana’s armor and tells her that her Unluck is the reason Gena died. Fuuko wants to become friends with Tatiana and make up for everything.

At the ship, Tatiana tells Andy to go to the top deck. Tatiana activates her ability in preparation to completely annihilate the negator hunters. Creed and Feng continue shooting at Tatiana, but the bullets just bounce off. Tatiana has a self-activating barrier that negates and repels all impurities.

As a child, Tatiana was sold at the auction but rescued by the Union. Tatiana had wished for death, filled with the guilt of killing her parents. Billy understood her pain and taught her to continue living for herself. Tatiana unleashes her full strength now the barrier expands and splits the ship in two.

Everybody is blasted into the air, and Andy spots Rip flying beside him. Andy points his finger bullet while Rip just smiles at his attack. Meanwhile, the other negators just cling to Andy since he can fly.

Undead Unluck is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since January 2020. As of May 2023, it is collected into 16 volumes.

The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches. Tormented by her ability, she decides to commit suicide but fate intervenes when she meets Andy, an undead person who wishes for the ‘best death.’ The pair joins the mysterious organization, Union, which consists of people like Fuuko and Andy, and go on missions given by a book called ‘Apocalypse.’
