Fuuko meets Phil under mysterious circumstances in chapter 156 of Undead Unluck, titled “Right Stuff.”

The chapter focused on the mission of docking the ship. Fuuko was angry with Gina and Sean, but they still helped the team massively in their mission and made it successful.

Sean and Gina try to explain their reason for intruding on the spaceship. Fukko is not ready to listen to them but decides to focus on the issue at hand i.e. docking the ship. 

She gives Creed, Gina, and Nico some duties and tells Sean to be on standby. Fuuko goes to space and finds it beautiful and terrifying at the same time. She discusses its beauty with Nico. 

They get back to the mission. Creed starts hitting the debris with a specialized gun. Sean asks the reason behind destroying the debris and gets a long answer from Nico in return. 

Gina is busy making a pipe that will dock the ship with the help of the air inside the hull. However, because of the absence of rain or dust, she can’t see whether she has made any progress or not. 

Everyone else has their hands full. Suddenly, Sean walks out of the ship to check the pipe as he is the only one free right now. It is all going well and Nico starts making a path with the pipe’s help. 

Suddenly, the pipe starts moving on its own and the controls get hijacked. The docking is still successful. Gina rushes to apologize to Fuuko for disobeying her orders.

Now, it is time to find Phil. They split up and start searching. Phil shows up in front of them out of nowhere. Everyone is shocked to see him breathing openly in space without air. 

Phil grabs Sean’s suit and tells him to save his mother.

Undead Unluck is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since January 2020. As of May 2023, it is collected into 16 volumes.

The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches.
