Now that Shinjiro Hayata has fully taken up the mantle of being the new Ultraman, he also became the target for many out there. Being a hero is indeed a demanding job, and we’ll be seeing Shinjiro deal with it a lot more since a second season is in the works.

That’s right people. Ultraman anime revealed a new visual for its season 2 at Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event. The anime will premiere in Spring 2022.

The visual teases the six Ultra warriors finally united. In short, the new season of this 3DCG anime is going to be epic.

The ‘Ultra 6 Brothers’ are the legendary six warriors, namely Ultraman, Seven, Ace, Zoffy, Jack, and Taro. Four of these warriors were in the first season, three of them being the main heroes.

The season revolved around Shinjiro coming to terms with being Ultraman. Throughout the season, he overcame several atrocities, all thanks to his teammates Seiji Hokuto and Dan Moroboshi, who are Ace and Seven, respectively.

The season concluded with Bemular, the main antagonist, taking away Hokuto with the guarantee to save him. Shinjiro takes a chance to trust Bemular and lets him do his thing. Moreover, Jack is seen abducting Yapool after breaking into the SSSP headquarters.

The upcoming season will solve these mysteries and take us off the cliffhanger after two years. I am honestly relieved and excited that we’ll finally get to see all the six Ultraman warriors united and fighting together.

Although Netflix needs to up their game for anime, they did a pretty good job at this one. The story was engaging, and even if the animation was different, it did pack a punch where the plot needed it.

My mind is full of so many questions like how Jack can become an ally in the next season and what he wants from Yapool? Will Bemular return Hokuto, or is he planning on turning him against the SSSP?

But the truth behind everything will only come to light when the season premieres, and I can’t wait for it.
