New Promo Video for Tsurune Season 2 Previews Opening Theme 

Tsurune is preparing for an epic season 2 with a new character to keep Minato and Shu on their toes. The new guy, Eisuke Nikaido, is different from what we’ve seen in the show, and he is expected to make things interesting now. 

Introducing Eisuke will induce a thrilling aspect to this calming story about archery and healthy rivalry. For that, we need a lively soundtrack that will make us feel those emotions, and the franchise has taken care of it. 

The latest promo video for Tsurune anime’s second season previews its high-spirited opening theme song, ‘℃’ by Luck Life. 

The video was revealed at an advanced anime screening held at Togeki Cinema in Tokyo. As announced previously, the anime is scheduled to broadcast on January 4, 2023, and HIDIVE will stream it globally. 

Moreover, the trailer featured all the returning cast members of the anime, like Yuto Uemura, Kensho Ono, and more. They all voice the main characters who are crucial to the plot. 

The new season will pick up from where it left off, i.e., Kazemai High’s victory over Kirisaki High. Both schools performed exceptionally during the competition, but destiny was in Kazemai’s favor that day, leading to their win. 

Season 2 will begin a new chapter in their story by including Eisuke, who is also Minato and Shu’s senior from middle school. Eisuke is currently in Tsujimine High School’s kyudo club, and voice actor Jun Fukuyama has been cast for this role. 

Tsurune’s new season seems to hold a lot of potential, and I’m here to see everything the franchise has planned this time.

Tsurune is a light novel by Kotoko Ayano which was adapted into an anime series by Kyoto Animation in 2018. As of 2022, three volumes have been published under Kyoto Animation’s KA Esuma Bunko imprint.

The plot revolves around Minato, a high schooler who has grown up loving archery but developed a sudden target panic. Yet, he is recruited into an archery club in high school and along with his team and instructor finds the true meaning behind his passion.
