Trapped in a Dating Sim is probably one of the most thrilling and absurd isekai plotlines out there. The story changed the entire plot of a wholesome otome game to one with wars, scheming, and bloodshed.
Its first season came out this year in April and received a positive response from fans despite being an isekai. The anime gained so much popularity that people now want another season, which looks like a possibility now.
A trusted leak has claimed that Trapped in a Dating Sim anime’s second season is currently under production, and we might get an official announcement soon.
While season 1 was about Leon trying to navigate his way around the otome game, the second season will be very different. Now that the protagonist knows how the world works, Leon might be onto new schemes to stay under the radar and away from attention.
However, considering all that he has done up until now, there’s no way people are going to forget him. Leon will be dragged into trouble again, which will be even more challenging to get out of this time.
Marie and Leon are still unaware of many things related to their past life. They might both be reincarnated, but as fans must have already sensed, there’s more to their relationship.
Moreover, Marie is bent on taking Olivia’s place as the heroine and becoming the Saint. If Olivia realizes and gets a hold of her true power, things will get difficult for Marie.
I’m really excited to see how the characters will deal with all that’s coming in the next season.
All we wait for now is an official announcement by the franchise, which I feel that they’ll be making soon. The season will most likely come out in 2023 or at the end of it.
