Inspired by the game of the same name, Castlevania has grown to become one of Netflix’s most seen shows.
Consisting of some of the best action scenes, deadliest characters, engaging plot, and of course, vampires, it isn’t surprising to see the series doing well.
With this explosive popularity and success, Castlevania’s season 4 is officially set to release in the latter half of 2021.
At the end of last season, we saw Alucard retreating to his castle, while Trevor and Sypha managed to close the Infinite Corridor and prevent Dracula from returning to Earth.
On the other hand, Dracula’s child being the focal point of the series will also see Alucard exploring his hidden powers.
With so many things going on at the same time, and characters leveling up, the top 10 strongest rankings have seen a few changes. Let’s see what the current situation looks like.
Miranda is an old Devil Forgemaster who assisted Isaac in his quest.
Like Hector, she can create and control night creatures using human corpses and make them do her bidding.
She is also capable of performing magic, enough to intimidate Isaac himself, and has mental strength capable of resisting the magician’s mass control spell.
While she has grown weaker due to age, It is heavily implied that she was one of the most powerful Devil Forgemasters and was even stronger than Hector and Isaac during her youth.
Alongside Isaac, Hector serves as one of Dracula’s two human generals.
His role as a Devil Forgemaster requires him to bring the dead animals and humans back to life, in the form of corpses. By doing so, he creates monsters to enlist in his master’s army.
Despite not being much of a fighter himself, his ability to command these undead creatures makes him a frightening enemy.
Cyclops first appeared in season 1 and established itself as a powerful character.
While wielding an electric hammer and shooting lasers out of its eyes, it rampaged and turned Sypha Belnades into stone.
With almost no weak spots other than its head, Cyclops guarded Sypha’s statue until Trevor defeated it.
Alongside Hector, Isaac is one of Lord Dracula’s two human generals occupying the role of a Devil Forgemaster.
After being saved by Dracula from his abusive master, he joined him to take revenge against humankind.
Despite specializing in creating monsters, Issac is extremely powerful in combat. This was seen when he slew Godbrand despite his superior prowess.
In the latest season, Isaac stormed a city, effectively killing and converting the citizens to corpse monsters, all the while effectively resisting the magician’s mind control.
All of this makes him a terrifying enemy to have.
Lenore was first introduced in Season 3 as a member of Styria’s Council of Sisters.
Being a diplomat, one of the most important things she had to do was convince Hector to create creatures for Styria’s use.
After connecting with him, she gave him a ring, which basically made Hector, and all his creatures her slave.
Along with her supernatural ability and mastery of hand-to-hand combat, Lenore was already strong. However, with this newfound loyal army, she has become an even more powerful adversary.
Carmilla is the Queen of Styria, as well as the Council of Sisters’ leader. Portrayed as a femme fatale, she is extremely powerful and dangerous.
Along with her intelligence, Carmilla possesses supernatural speed, agility, and physical strength.
Just a simple kick from her is enough to knock down Godbrand and display her superiority.
In addition, being part of a vampiric nobility, her status, paired with her manipulative behavior, is enough to make Dracula’s servants question their loyalty.
By doing so, she almost succeeds in overrunning Dracula’s castle.
What makes her so fearsome is that despite these powerful acts, she has yet to show her true strength. Season 4 may finally give us a glimpse into what Carmilla is truly capable of.
Trevor, the last descendent of the Belmont family, is the protagonist of Castlevania and a vampire hunter.
After his family was killed and wrongfully condemned, he left the estate and returned after becoming extremely powerful.
His mastery over martial arts and superior physique got him through many dangerous situations and allowed him to fight even Alucard, when the latter insisted on testing him.
Despite possessing no magic, Trevor played an important role in defeating Dracula, and in the game, he was the first Belmont to actually kill him.
Sypha Belnades is the granddaughter of the Elder of the Speakers and an elemental sorceress.
This means that she is capable of manipulating and creating any element from scratch, which makes her an immensely powerful mage.
In the series, she was able to dispatch Dracula’s monsters effortlessly and even burned one of his generals alive with a light touch of her hand.
We also saw her using ice to create shields and whirlwinds to fling her enemies far away.
With season 4’s release, she will only get more powerful, and her full capabilities will finally be displayed.
With his vampiric heritage, Alucard has access to supernatural powers, as well as human empathy.
With otherworldly abilities such as strength, levitation, telekinesis, shapeshifting, and speed, few opponents can face him and live to tell the tale.
Alucard is also an exceptional martial artist, which was seen when he managed to land attacks on Dracula.
He was even able to fight Trevor to a draw while displaying his spectacular swordsmanship.
With his near-genius level of intellect and superior strength, he teamed up with Sypha and Trevor to land the killing blow on his father.
There’s no need for a drumroll at this point, as every fan knows who this spot belongs to.
Dracula is the strongest character in Castlevania and the main antagonist of the series. After his human wife was killed, he vowed revenge onto the world and almost succeeded in fulfilling his plan.
Till the very end, he was unkillable, as no matter what one threw at him, he always emerged alive and unscathed.
Possessing the very best physique and vampiric powers, it took everything that Trevor Belmont, Sypha, and Alucard had to barely scratch him.
Sypha, one of the best magicians, was unable to move him, and even when Alucard managed to damage him, Dracula’s remaining strength was enough to kill the three twice over.
The only reason Alucard managed to kill him was because of their familial ties.Originally Written By Epic Dope
