The anime focuses on the story of Konoha Satou, who has a dark history; like every other teenager, she writes Y/N fanfiction in her middle school, which essentially involves a knight in shining armor saving the damsel in distress.
She then gets killed in the accident, obviously by our Truck-kun, and reincarnates in her cringe fanfic but as the most hated villain. How she navigates through this world created by her imagining forms the crux of the story.
