3. Episode 12 Plot

When Hanako came to meet Nene, he was sad to see that she was worried about Kou more than him.

Meanwhile, Nene was being followed by a porcupine fish who was the mermaid’s servant whose scale Nen swallowed a while back.

During the lunch break, the porcupine fish proposed to Nene on coming to their world as a princess and also said that if she wants to sever her bonds with Hanako, she can do that by drinking the mermaid’s blood.

Upon hearing that, a confused Nene went to Aoi, Yako, and Tsuchigomori for suggestions on what she should do.

After hearing their suggestions, Nene declined the porcupine fish’s proposal but was dragged into their world by force. Just when the porcupine fish was trying to feed the blood to Nene, Hanako saved her.

Following that, Hanako said to Nene that if she wants to know about his truth, he’ll tell her one day, and for that, she’ll have to stick with him for a bit longer.

In the meantime, Sakura, Natsuhiko, and Tsukasa were spinning the web for their new plan.

While Mitsuba was wondering about what to do, Natsuhiko asked him to decide what he wants to do and follow that.

The season ended with Kou promising himself to become stronger to save Mitsuba while Nene and Hanako were coming close to each other.
