To Your Eternity Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation

To Your Eternity manga was launched in November 2016 in Weekly Shōnen Magazine, and it is a type of manga that will hit you hard. Deep philosophies on life will make you question your existence and reason for living after every chapter.

The manga’s first arc recently ended on December 4, and the second arc will launch on January 22. Now, the news of an anime adaptation will undoubtedly prepare the fans to embrace the series from the start yet again.

NHK’s Anime World announced today on their website that a TV anime adaptation of Yoshitoki Oima’s fantasy manga To Your Eternity is set to premiere on NHK Educational TV in October 2020 and also released a teaser graphic of the anime.

More details such as confirmed cast and staff are not out yet, but we expect them to surface soon. Moreover, it is the author’s first work to get its anime adaptation. The author also commented on the news:

“I hope you will find a lot of excitement through this anime.”

The manga has also won the Best Shōnen Manga award at the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards in May and have also ranked on the American Library Association’s (ALA’s) Young Adult Library Services Association’s (YALSA) 2019 list of Great Graphic Novels for Teens. Kodansha Comics published the 11th volume in print in English on December 17 and will publish the 12th volume on January 17.
