Titans Season 4 Episode 3: Release Date, Recap, and Speculation

Season 4 of the Titans takes the superhero team to Metropolis with their new member, Tim Drake. The two episodes cover much ground, but most of it remains unexplained. Rachel and Sebastian’s visions, Lex’s involvement with the occult, Gar’s blackouts, and Connor’s fate – all of these remain a mystery.

One thing is for sure, dark times await Metropolis. Hopefully, the Titans will be able to save their teammates and the city before the darkness consumes the whole city.

1. Episode 3 Synopsis/Speculation

HBO Max hasn’t released any official synopsis for the upcoming episode, but we have many questions.

Episode 3 might explain more of what Mother Mayhem’s mission is in Metropolis, and now that the Titans are aware of her, they will try to figure out the same.

After Connor’s exoneration and with LexCorp’s future in his hands he has bigger things to worry about. The upcoming episode will also elaborate on the “occult” findings Lex had made and how that led to his death at the hands of Mother Mayhem.

We hope Rachel finds her footing and that her connection with the supernatural turns out to be a crucial element against the Church of Blood. Maybe Kory will take the center stage with the Titans in defeating Mother Mayhem.

Sebastian, Connor, Gar, and Rachel seem connected by scary visions and echoing voices, and with Mother Mayhem’s cult on the rise, we’re excited to see how exactly everything is going to unfold.

Mother Mayhem

The Titans work together to prove Connor’s innocence while another killer is on the loose. Kory finds Nelson Blake, the only survivor from Lex’s close circle. He explains that Luthor had gotten involved in something dark and that the others had died similarly to him.

To prove his point, Blake dies the same way Lex did, Kory killing the snake that came out of his mouth. Meanwhile, Dick and Rachel track the masked killer back to his lair and discover barely alive victims. Rachel confronts the man behind the bird-mask, but as the titans leave the site, Mother Mayhem attacks them.

The Titans can barely match her power, except Kory, who’s begun testing the limits of her ability. But Rachel loses the stone in her head, her hairs turn white, and her powers gone.

As Mother Mayhem rises to the chants of her followers in the lair, we cut to Sebastian hearing the same chants as he sees another gory vision.
