Titans Season 4 Episode 1 & 2: Release Date, Recap, and Speculation

The season 3 finale of Titans finally concluded Scarecrow’s devious plan and even sealed his fate at the end of “Purple Rain.” Using the Lazarus Pit, the team recovered most of the collateral damage from Crane’s bomb attack and left Gotham City searching for their next adventure.

Blackfire said her goodbyes, Tim Drake entered the superhero team, Bruce and Jason made their amends, and now the stage is set with a cleaner slate for season 4. What awaits the superhero team in the upcoming season?

1. Episode 1 and 2 Expectations and Theories

So far, Titans has introduced a new villain each season. With Crane out of commission, thanks to Nightwing and Raven, and following the previous pattern, fans can expect a new big bad in the upcoming season.

A.R.G.U.S’s exploration of Ra’s Al Ghul and his “larger plan” may have a crucial part to play in season 4. Wonder Girl’s inclusion in the organization will also open a new path for the character to explore in the following season.

The season 3 finale saw Jason’s redemption and goodbye from Gotham, but season 4 may place him back in San Francisco with the other Titans in search of their next adventure.

Season 4 will introduce Joseph Morgan’s Brother Blood as the next target on the Titans’ radar. The show’s season 4 will also be the Church of Blood’s debut in the DC live-action series.

But Brother Blood isn’t the only one gunning for the Titans. Other villains slated to appear in season 4 are Mother Mayhem, Jinx, and Lex Luthor.

Since the position for Robin is now open, Nightwing takes Tim Drake under his wing (pun intended) and trains him to be the latest addition in the superhero roster. Season 4 will see more of Drake in action and showcase his rise among the Titans.

Fans can also expect Raven to be in the front and center next season as the team takes on their supernaturally powered villain. After all, that is her area of expertise!
