From fan edits to real-life marketing—Marvel revealed new scenes from Thor: Love and Thunder in a very TikTok-esque video posted on the short-form video-sharing platform.
The video introduces fans to new footage, albeit only a few seconds of it. In quintessential TikTok style, viewers see Thor, Jane, Valkyrie, and Korg while the iconic Sweet Child O’ Mine by the legendary Guns N’ Roses plays in the background.
The teaser clip also rides on the fun aspect as it uses comedic moments to attract more viewers and target the Gen Z audience.

Thor: Love and Thunder is riding on high expectations. It packs exciting things such as Jane’s (Natalia Portman) arrival as the Mighty Thor, Valkyrie’s (Tessa Thompson) way of work as the Ruler of New Asgard, and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) trying to get his mental health back on track.
Audiences saw a glimpse of Thor’s very-human side in Avengers: Endgame when he transferred the royal position to Valkyrie and struggled with depression.
Moreover, in another newly released trailer, Valkyrie shone as she wielded her dagger with a menacing smile and went against Christian Bale’s Gorr The God Butcher.
Jane is seen teaming up with the Asgardians and Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (Sean Gunn), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), and Nebula (Karen Gillan).
The scene-stealer, however, is one where Asgard gets to see Thor’s blurred nudity.

Tickets for the release will go live on June 13, Monday, nearly a month before the movie’s premiere. The month-long period coupled with new footage and marketing updates, will continue to generate interest among Marvel lovers.

Thor: Love and Thunder is a MCU movie and the fourth installation in the Thor series. It is directed by Ragnarok’s director, Taika Waititi, and will show Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman reprising their roles as Thor Odinson and Dr. Jane Foster.
The movie will be based on The Mighty Thor comics in which Thor Odinson loses the ability to lift Mjolnir, and Jane Foster takes on the role of Mighty Thor. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Thor teams up with The Guardians of the Galaxy for a short time, leaving Valkyrie as the ruler of New Asgard. But Thor returns to team up with Korg, Valkyrie and Jane’s Mighty Thor to take down Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) – before he takes out all the gods in existence.
Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson return for Watiti’s second go, while Russell Crowe and Natalie Portaman join Taika’s project for the first time. The movie is out on July 8, 2022.
