A new clip from The Witcher season 3 reveals Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri’s domestic life. The Witcher season 3 part 1 will release on Netflix on June 29.
Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Geralt of Rivia for the third and final time before Liam Hemsworth takes over in season 4. The Witcher season 3, based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s second novel in The Witcher saga, Time of Contempt, follows the Continent’s pursuit of Ciri while Geralt and Yennefer strive to safeguard her.

The clip, from The Witcher season 3, episode 1, shows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri’s domestic bliss. The montage includes scenes of Yennefer and Ciri ice-skating while Geralt watches them fondly, Ciri jumping on Geralt for a piggyback ride, and all three enjoying a meal together. However, as Yennefer begins to train Ciri in magic, a sinister voice and disturbing visions shatter the peace.
The Witcher season 3 premiere clip reveals Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri’s situation at the start. Geralt hides Ciri in the snowy mountains, where they enjoy a serene domestic life with Yennefer, while various forces pursue her. However, as the Witcher season 3 clip shows, Yennefer’s attempt to train Ciri in magic disrupts their tranquility and has dire consequences.
Yennefer takes Ciri and Geralt to the secure stronghold of Aretuza, where she is in charge of Ciri’s magical education and hopes to discover more about her latent abilities. However, they soon find out that they have walked into a war zone of political intrigue, dark sorcery, and treachery.
The Witcher season 3 clip shows the peaceful moment before the turmoil that will unfold later in the season, which will be divided into two parts, with the first one releasing on June 29.
