The Wheel Of Time Season 1 Episode 8 Speculation

Moiraine and Rand will have to make a dangerous journey through the Blight to get to the Eye of the World. What dangers will befall them? While the two left the others behind in an attempt to protect them, it’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the group reacts to the change of plans. Will they go after them?

Who did Perrin see in the market? How was this person able to follow the group through the Ways? Will the Red Ajah gentle Mat once they get their hands on him? The seer tells Moiraine that the Amyrlin Seat will be her downfall. Could this cause Moiraine to reassess her relationship?

The Black Mist tells Rand that he is indeed the Dragon reborn, and that it was something he always knew deep down. The story of his birth also confirms this fact. After his conversation with the seer, it is revealed that he’s not going to make it out alive once he reaches the Eye. What could be the cause of his demise? Find out in the season finale.

The Wheel Of Time Season 1 Episode 8 titled “The Eye Of The World” will be released on 24th December, 2021 at 12 am ET on Amazon Prime Video.

The Wheel Of Time Season 1 Episode 7 Recap

The episode begins with a flashback of a pregnant woman during ‘The Battle of The Shining Walls’ In the present, the group is anxious about leaving Mat behind and argues about it. Moiraine tells them there’s darkness in him and he made his choice. Loial also tells them it would be impossible to open the gates again and any use of the One power would make them susceptible to Machin Shin.

The group runs into a trolloc and Egwene believes she accidentally channeled, causing the Machin Shin to come after them. It is later revealed that Rand was actually the one who channeled during the trolloc attack. Nynaeve protects the group from the Machin Shin, while Moiraine opens the portal to Fal Dara. After they cross over, the group is visibly shaken. Moiraine advises them to not dwell on what they heard in the Black Winds too much.

Moiraine sends a message to the red Ajah to look for Mat. Later that day, the group goes to a bar in the city, where Moiraine speaks to a seer to get an insight on who could be the Dragon reborn. The seer tells Moiraine about the white light she sees in the group and how it links them all together. She also tells her that the Amyrlin Seat will cause her downfall. Rand and Egwene have an argument and Perrin interferes, telling Rand he owes her an apology. Nynaeve accidentally lets slip that Perrin is in love with Egwene. Rand and Egwene make up.

Rand recalls the two times he had been able to channel and goes to speak to the seer himself. The next morning, Lan tells the group that Moiraine had masked their bond. Rand and Moiraine left Fal Dara to travel to the Eye of the World without the others.
