The Wheel Of Time Season 1 Episode 7 Speculation
Liandrin is very confident about her support among the other Ajahs because she brings up the fact that Siuan Sanche was originally from the Blue Ajah and might give preferential treatment to Moiraine because of it. If she gets to know about the nature of Moiraine and Siuan’s relationship it could be detrimental for the both of them.
She overhears Moiraine talking to Lan about Mat and confronts her. Moiraine retorts by bringing up the fact that Liandrin is in touch with a man who can channel and threatens to expose her if she doesn’t keep quiet about this. It’s clear that their rivalry will only grow stronger as the show progresses.
Moiraine is able to build some trust with Mat and Rand after saving Mat from the Shadar Logoth dagger. However, Mat chooses to stay behind when Moiraine and the rest of the group go through the Ways portal. Will he change his mind and dive through at the last minute? The Wheel Of Time Season 1 Episode 6 Recap
The episode begins with a flashback of the current Amyrlin Seat, Siuan Sanche, leaving Tear to head to the White Tower. Siuan Sanche is extremely sharp and good at puzzles, which is why she roze through the ranks so quickly. In the present day, there is a meeting of representatives of all the Ajahs and the Amyrlin seat regarding the Two Rivers villagers.
Lan takes Moiraine to see Mat and Rand. They’re initially defensive because they suspect she’s there to gentle Mat. But she’s actually there to heal Mat from the corruption of the dagger. She later visits Egwene and Perrin and keeps it a secret from them that Rand, Mat and Nynaeve are in Tar Valon. She also tells Egwene to keep Perrin’s ‘Golden Eyes’ a secret.
It is later revealed that Moiraine and Siuan are lovers and are secretly working together to find the Dragon reborn. Moiraine brings Egwene to meet Nynaeve and the two are happy to be reunited. She later brings them to meet the Amyrlin. Nynaeve is still suspicious of the Aes Sedai and wants to leave with Egwene. But the Amyrlin tells her all of them have a bigger purpose that they need to serve.
Siuan exiles Moiraine. This gives Moiraine the opportunity to take the two villagers out of Tar Valon and progress with their secret mission. She asks Loial to help them get through the Ways gate so they can travel to the Eye of the World and confront the Dark One.
