Rand and Mat

Rand and Mat’s journey also reveals a fifth candidate in the pool of potential Dragon Reborns. They meet a barmaid on their way who is a Darkfriend and has dreamt of five, and not four, potential Dragons. We are forced to think the fifth one was Logain but by end of episode, we’re in for a surprise.

Meanwhile, Logain was proving difficult to contain, requiring two Sisters at a time to hold back his powers. But in the last minutes of the episode, Moiraine tells him his powers are but a flicker compared to the true Dragon’s.

Just then, Nynaeve’s matted locks channel an incredible healing power, curing all the fatal injuries Logain incurs. She subconsciously taps into the One power and heals everyone in the room, all seven sisters and their warders. Before he is gentled, Logain looks at Nynaeve and whispers “powers like the sun”. Could Nynaeve be the Dragon reborn or at least the mysterious fifth candidate in the pool?
