The Promised Neverland Season 2 Updates

Promised Neverland season 1 had more focus on horror and mystery elements and it’s ending made the fans crave more. There is only one question in everyone’s mind -- ‘What happens after Emma, Ray, and the other orphans escape Grace Field House into the demon forest?’ as the anime has yet to explain what’s really going on in the world outside the Grace Field House.

The Promised Neverland, on their website, revealed on Saturday that the anime’s second season will premiere in October 2020.

The anime will again air on Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block and the franchise is planning to refresh on Season 1 just before that with the first season to be re-broadcasted in July 2020.

Previously at Anime Expo 2019, producer Kenta Suzuki spoke on how the Promised Neverland Season 2 will be different since season 1 was focused on the main characters escaping from Grace Field House. For season 2 however, they want to focus on whether Emma will be able to keep the promise that she made.

“I definitely want everyone to feel the same intense experience as the first season.”

Suzuki told audiences at Anime Expo 2019

The manga entered the climax of the final arc in August. A live-action film on the manga will also open in theatres in Japan in December 2020 following the release of season 2.
