In the last chapter, Leuvis crowned Mujika as the new Demon Queen, and with a peaceful demon on the throne, it looks like the orphans have found their promised Neverland after all.

The Promised Neverland Chapter 176 will release on Sunday, May 10. The title for the upcoming chapter will be “Yakusoku No Neverland.”

In the next chapter, we will see how Emma and Norman deal with the incoming Imperial army and find their escape.

2. Is The Promised Neverland 176 On Break This Week?

No, The Promised Neverland manga is not on any break this week and chapter 176 will come out as per its schedule.

Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump took a break on April 19, the same day on which The Promised Neverland Chapter 176 was supposed to release.

The manga went on a four-week-long hiatus due to COVID-19.

3. Chapter 176 Raw Scans

The Promised Neverland chapter 176 raw scans were released recently, and in the next chapter, Isabella, aka mom of Grace Field farm, will die protecting one of the kids from a surprise demon attack.

Mom comes in between those claws as they were about to rip open one of the kids, and sacrifices herself.

The demon has one of those “protective masks” on which all high-rank demons wear to protect their eyes. Two eye openings are clearly visible from the raw scans.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like our heroes have any more of those special guns which are required to kill this one-off.

Everyone was happy hearing the news of the abolishment of farms. All they had to do now was to deal with the incoming Imperial Army. However, things will take a difficult turn for the kids as they will have to fight on both fronts now.

5. Chapter 176 Speculations/Predictions

It seems the kids have finally gotten their “promised neverland” since the hunt for human meat seems to be over for now.

However, it can be quite hard for a demon to pass on a chunk of human meat when they see some of that “premium quality good” in front of them. With some rogue demons around, including the wild ones, it’s not like the kids can roam freely, thinking it’s Central Park. 

In the upcoming chapter 176, Mujika will most likely distribute her blood among town people to free them from their need for human meat. On the other hand, Emma and others have just rescued all moms and kids from Grace Field.

However, Norman’s intel confirms a battalion of Imperial soldiers coming towards Grace Field’s bridge. Normal and others will probably come up with a plan in the next chapter to make their escape since Mujika and others have no idea what’s going on in the Grace Field; hence they can’t help.

It is still not clear why the Imperial army even started marching towards Grace Field, but we have a pretty solid guess here. In chapter 174, Moms receive a message on their tablets, which contains a notice for demon town citizens.

Chapter 174 ends here, and chapter 175 cuts here and focuses on Mujika’s coronation throughout, so what exactly was in the notice is still in the blue. However, there is a chance that the Imperial soldiers want their last feast on human meat before it’s all gone away from their reach.

You thought the kids were done with Leuvis at Goldy Pond for good? We thought the same until the beast came back, announcing he also had two cores, similar to his sister.

However, this time he isn’t gonna pick up a fight, but instead, he wants to free his fellow demons from this lust of human meat. 

Leuvis announced in front of the whole devil town that all plantations will be shut down with immediate effect, even the high-quality plants such as the Grace Field.

At first, everyone opposed, but later Leuvis made them realize how demons’ hunger for human meat made them slaves to the human traffickers working as middlemen. 

He steps down from his right of being the next Demon King to give demons a new fresh leadership, in the form of Mujika. He appoints Mujika as the new Demon Queen. Mujika will soon share her blood with the entire town so that no one ever needs to eat human meat again.
