Previously, we saw a sick Luz as she caught a common cold. While she was trying to recover, her friends head off to find the portal door to the human world.
This mission was taken on by Eda, King, and Amity. This was the first chance for Amity to prove her love for Luz.
Elsewhere, Hunter, too, was on a mission as he feared that he would soon be replaced. So, he was thinking of going to find Titan’s blood. But he must make haste as he must do so before Kikimora does.
The echo mouse reveals to Hunter that he could find Titan’s Blood at the Eclipse Lake. As he heads there, Hunter has an encounter with Eda, King, and Amity. Immediately so, the trio manages to hold Hunter captive. This was so that he did not flee.

The Owl House Season 2 Episode 10, titled “Yesterday’s Lie,” follows the story of Luz. She has finally recovered from her common cold as her relationship with Amity improves. She has finally found a way back home.

The Owl House Season 2 Episode 9 Recap
The Owl House Season 2 Episode 9 titled “Eclipse Lake” features Eda, King, and Amity holding Hunter captive as they enter the cave of Eclipse Lake. Here they encounter Kikimora and Belos’ guards.
As they flee, Hunter manages to escape. Eda takes out the guards as Amity and King go after Hunter. Here, when they reach the lake, they realize that it’s dried out. Nevertheless, the portal key is said to have Titan’s blood, so Hunter and Amity scuffle over it.
In the end, as Hunter threatens to harm Luz, Amity gives the key to him. But before she does so, she cracks the key to get some Titan Blood. Eda, King, and Amity head back to see a recovered Luz waiting for them.
