Season three of The Orville will be coming to Hulu very soon. Trekkies and science fiction fans can rejoice! Seth MacFarlane’s outer space comedy-drama is coming back for a new season. This time it is moving out of FOX; the third and all forthcoming seasons will air on Hulu.
Since most of the show relies on elaborate set pieces and prosthetic makeup, the third season of Orville was not ready for FOX’s 2019-2020 line-up. It was announced that the show would move to Hulu.
Though there will be a season three, when it will be available to stream is still a mystery. Like most other shows, the production of The Orville has been shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic. But the show’s creator Seth MacFarlane has revealed in a chat with cast member Jessica Szohr that almost all of the scripts of the third season have been finished.
