Back in the UBA office, Stella mulls over Paul’s contract. Paul has offered her a ginormous promotion as the CEO of UBA that will fetch her $14 million a year. However, she’s worried about the ruthless nature of the job, and the dog-eat-dog world scares the bejesus out of her.

Next, Stella is visited by her friend Kate, who’s just been fired from Hyperion by Paul. Kate feels that Stella is becoming Paul’s pet and warns her against accepting the position. She fears that Paul will own her once she becomes UBA’s new CEO and will always manipulate her to get his way. The conversation turns into a heated argument.

Elsewhere, in the fundraiser, Paul and Alex try to play it cool. However, Paul is suddenly informed that the Vault has a picture of the two kissing. Paul promises Alex that he will buy out the news and the source.

The Ending Explained: Pandemonium

At Martha’s house, Cory and Bradley try to sweet-talk Martha into dropping the case against UBA. However, Martha is one stubborn mom, and the conversation becomes a heated argument. She uses some extremely harsh words and asks Cory and Bradley to leave.

Their drive back home is suddenly interrupted by a breaking news story. There’s a Supreme Court brief leak, and they are overturning Roe vs. Wade, which jeopardizes abortion laws in America. The entire UBA team springs into action at once.

In that pandemonium, Stella reveals Paul’s offer to Cory in a dramatic twist. Contrary to our expectations, Cory seems to remain calm throughout the ordeal. He asks Stella to sign the employment agreement so they can have an upper hand over Paul.

It seems like Cory’s career isn’t over just yet. Stella has sided with Cory for now. Will they bring Paul Marks down together?

The episode ends with an absolute banger. Amid all the Vault leaks and threats, Chip walks in on Alex and Paul Marks kissing. Career suicide? Let’s see!

Got the rare talent to binge an entire show in a single sitting just like that. Although a sucker for psychological thrillers, no bias for any genre when it comes to a good story. A living proof that Netflix and chill is not a myth!
