The Legendary Hero is Dead Ep 4: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Touka meets Marguerite in episode 3 of The Legendary Hero is Dead, titled “The Hero is a Skeleton.”

It was just a typical episode where we met one of the hero’s old lovers. Just as you can expect, she loves him with all her heart, so much that she is not even ashamed of slapping her own teacher for just doubting the hero. 

Meanwhile, we meet a bad guy, and it is predictable from his face itself that he is the bad guy. So the reveal at the end brought in so much shock value and was one of the most generic twists one can find in a number of anime.

1. Episode 4 Speculations

Marguerite will get in trouble in episode 4 of The Legendary Hero is Dead, titled “The Bride and the Hero.” 

Leland will unleash his attack in the next episode, and I am not looking forward to it. It will be a generic attack that our hero will somehow manage to stop without doing much. 

I don’t really have much hope of anything new or unique happening in the next episode. Yuna will be freed either by the knights or Touka. Marguerite will fall even more for Touka after he does nothing but look at her thigh. 

2. Episode 4 Release Date

Episode 4 of The Legendary Hero is Dead will be released on Thursday, April 27, 2023. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Thursday.

3. Episode 3 Recap 

Since Touka is in debt, he goes to the capital to ask for money from the king. However, he is not ready to go to the capital as a skeleton. He uses a substitute face of his sword to appear before Larcvalt XIII.

He asks the king for help, but the latter considers it a joke. He tells Touka that the hero was the only one who didn’t take any reward three years ago, which showed him what a real hero meant. 

The king thinks that Touka is there to marry his daughter Marguerite. To avoid fighting the king, Touka agrees and goes to meet her. He goes to meet the princess. 

Defying his expectations, she turns out to be pretty. He lies to her about his face, and she offers him to go on a date with her to a mask festival. Anri and Yuna meet Leland Tallman, director of an orphanage. 

He knows Anri is a necromancer. Yuna tells him they are there to increase their mana. Leland offers them a potion that will immediately increase their mana but costs 100 million. 

They don’t have that much, so he offers them to accompany him on the demon hunt. During the hunt, they meet Siruela, one of the four strongest knights in the kingdom, along with Cloin and Neigan (who aren’t accompanying her). 

Cloin tells them to accompany him, and they lure Anri and Yuna into a trap. Meanwhile, Touka learns that the princess suffers from the mana-loss disease. Her teacher scolds him for forgetting this. 

She gets well, and Touka is given room to rest. He goes to find Anri and Touka but can’t find them anywhere. Some residents tell him about the orphanage, and there he finds Marguerite. 

Leland tells him about the demon hunt. Touka leaves. It is revealed that Leland is an evil master who turns people into skeletons and has trapped Yuna and Anri. 

He plans to turn everyone, including the princess, into a skeleton on the festival day. 

The festival arrives, and Marguerite meets Touka. They both enjoy the festival together but are always accompanied by her teacher. Marguerite slaps her teacher when he tries to insult Touka and leaves. 

Isaac (the teacher) is now determined to reveal the hero’s true identity.

The Legendary Hero is Dead! (Yūsha ga Shinda! Murabito no Ore ga Hotta Otoshiana ni Yūsha ga Ochita Kekka.) is a manga series by Sabaruichi. It was serialized in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday Website and MangaONE app from December 2014 to December 2020.

Sion Bladan, the hero who formerly sealed the demon realm, is on a quest to reseal the portal. However, he dies by falling into a pit dug by Touka. Anri uses Touka’s soul to bring Shion back. With Touks’s friend Yuna, the three embark on the quest to rid the world of demons once again.
