Touka and Sion defeat Diego in episode 12 of The Legendary Hero is Dead, titled “There Are Two Heroes.”

This “legendary” anime finally came to an end with a promise of continuing the adventure. There was nothing extraordinary or unique about the last episode. It was as generic as one can expect.

Touka went into the realm of the Holy Sword and met Sion there. Then, suddenly out of nowhere, we find that Sion’s spirit is alive, and it can be transferred to Touka’s body. With this, they defeat their enemy, and Yuna realizes that she is in love with Touka.

3. Episode 12 Recap

Kyle comes in to help Anri with her fight against Diego. Touka is still unconscious, and Yuna starts losing hope of ever seeing him again. Touka wakes up at an unknown place that looks like heaven.

He starts to panic, but then Hero Sion shows up, telling him it is the realm of the holy sword. He shows Touka the gate to his ideal world and tells him that he has been chosen as the next Hero.

Touka is shocked by this revelation. He is still alive as his body and spirit are back on Earth, so he decides to return back to save Yuna as he doesn’t want to live in a world without his favorite thighs.

Touka returns to fight Diego and lets the spirit of Sion take over his body. Diego gets furious as he doesn’t know that something like this was also possible. He launches an attack on Sion, but the latter easily slice him up.

Touka then uses his sword to destroy Diego’s crystal. He and Sion made a plan where Sion would Crack open the crystal, and Touka would destroy it before it regenerated. Touka moves swiftly and breaks the curse just one second before sunrise.

Yuna is back to normal while followers of Queen Adele kill Diego. Everyone enjoys the victory. The mayor lets Touka have fun with some girls. Seeing this, Yuna gets jealous and takes him away.

She has started to feel strange around Touka. Her heart feels heavy, and she can’t stop feeling flustered. She agrees to let Touka get his wish of getting rubbed by her thighs but runs away when she realizes that Sion can also see her.

She wonders what’s happening to her. Marguerite tells her that it is love, and she has fallen for Touka. Yuna is not ready to accept that but slowly realizes it may be true. Marguerite accepts her as her rival (*sigh*).

Touka and Sion prepare to go to their next junction. Sion wants to go north of Hell’s Gate first to meet the Sage. It will be tough for him to survive with his current mana level, so Kyle will be his guide and train him.

Thus begins the new journey of our legendary hero.

Sion Bladan, the hero who formerly sealed the demon realm, is on a quest to reseal the portal. However, he dies by falling into a pit dug by Touka. Anri uses Touka’s soul to bring Shion back. With Touks’s friend Yuna, the three embark on the quest to rid the world of demons once again.
