Anri and Friedrich turn out to be siblings in episode 10 of The Legendary Hero is Dead, titled “The Hero is Going Undercover.”

This twist came at the end of the episode. The episode was filled with clichés and generic tropes, with little of it all actually generating interest. Touka acted like the worst pervert whenever he got the chance to.

The mayor of the town in danger seems to be the only likable character in the entire series. He went to the king to ask for some reinforcement. Friedrich and Deigo took care of the top warriors of the magic corps without breaking a sweat.

Episode 11 Speculations

Touka and Friedrich will come face-to-face in episode 11 of The Legendary Hero is Dead, titled “The Hero’s Duel.” 

The short preview gave us very little idea about what’s coming up next. Yuna might turn back to normal in the next episode. Maybe Anri will strike a deal with her brother and make the zombie effect fade away. 

The king, along with the mayor, might attack Elbania in the next episode. It is the penultimate episode of the season, and I really hope we get something mildly interesting in this drag of an anime.

Episode 10 Recap 

Touka tells his friends about Yuna’s consciousness of being there with him. Anri tells him that their consciousness is connected. The magic warrior corps goes to capture Diego and Friedrich. 

However, the duo is way stronger than they look, and they alone are able to overpower the strongest of the corps. Diego and Friedrich brutally kill all the warriors. 

Seeing this, the king immediately orders an attack on Elbania. Mayor Burns Dot and Belarco show up before the king and beg him to send reinforcement to help the hero save his town. 

The king agrees, and Ciruela tells them that they will need to take help of someone. They go on to release Kyle Ozment, one of the hero’s former companions, and head out for Elbania. 

Touka and his crew leave for the castle of Diego and Friedrich, with Ethel accompanying them. A horde of skeletons welcomes them. Ethel betrays them and stabs Touka’s head from behind.

However, he is still alive and down in the sewage system with Yuna. Anri begs him to let her join him. They all move ahead and reach a large gate. Anri and Touka disguise themselves as low-rank demons trying to solve their problem.

They form a bond with the other low-rank demons and find out that the latter’s queen, Adele, is missing, and the demons are searching for her. Touka disguises himself as Tuuka and goes to talk to the high-rank demon they were there for.

He tells her that he, too, has the same ideal as her and wants demons and humans to coexist. She gets convinced easily, and Touka makes her fall asleep with a secret technique. He is about to take away the body when Friedrich shows up.

We learn that Friedrich is Anri’s elder brother, and she is delighted to meet him again. Only one hour remains before Yuna turns into a zombie.
