2. Episode 5 Speculation

Hikaru and Risa took blood samples at the start of this episode, and he later sent them to the lab for a checkup. He had mentioned that the results had come back normal and that there was nothing to worry about, but the extra sample taken for Hikaru was suspicious.

He is very secretive and is on to something using the second blood vial. Since Risa is in love with him, she will likely spy on his activities and discover what he’s up to in the next episode. Since his purpose is to avenge his mother, it’s probably related somehow to the DNA he has in his genes.

Since he would have similar DNA to his mother, he could probably use his blood to trace the suspect who framed her all those years ago.

3. Recap of Episode 4

Sudo takes the help of his assistant, Risa, to draw his blood into multiple vials to give himself a checkup. Risa gets flustered since he rarely asks for help and keeps talking about him even after work. One of her best friends notices her obsession and introduces her to a new AI that creates fantasy romance situations.

Back in her house, Risa watches one of the preview samples showcasing multiple rom-com situations. One by one, the scenarios escalate until Risa gets highly uncomfortable and shuts it off. Meanwhile, Nozaki, a high schooler student, visits Sudo’s clinic for an implant upgrade.

He gets a dating simulator within his eyes and customizes her features with his school crush. The implant has a virtual reality feature, which creates a highly realistic hologram version of her that only he can see, and he even takes her on a date.

The two go to Sudo’s clinic for advice since Hide blames his humanoid settings for his infidelity. The doctor puts a switch on the back of his ear that resets his brain when he’s overflowing with feelings and gives him more clarity in his decisions.
