The Equalizer Season 2 Episode 10 Recap
A woman reaches out to Robyn to help her find a stolen painting that was part of her grandmother’s heritage. Her grandmother was a survivor of the 1921 Tulsa massacre and the painting was of her great-grandmother.
They had tried to get the police involved but the larcenist who stole the painting was a significant contributor of the police fund, so it had been a fruitless effort.
After investigating, Robyn and the team learn that the thief had hidden the painting in a high-security vault. It was so air-tight that not even Mel and Harry could figure out a way in.
This prompted Robyn to reach out to an old contact, a cat burglar named Jessie Cook. She gets Jessie onboard by promising her she can steal anything else present in the vault as long she helps her retrieve the painting.
Despite some hurdles, Jessie and Robyn retrieve the painting and Jessie even bags another high-value painting for herself. The larcenist is arrested for money laundering. Robyn returns the portrait to the family.
