3. Episode 2 Recap
Kyotaro watches Anna prepare to eat Nerunerunerune, which requires a small tray filled with water. She struggles and spills much of it on the floor, causing an irritated Kyotaro to clean it up. When he tries to offer her a cup, he discovers she has already finished it, and she gives him her empty tray, which he gladly accepts.
Kyotaro still wishes to kill Anna because of his wasted time but wonders why she snacks alone despite having many friends. He wonders if she secretly wants to kill him. Adachi, one of their classmates, tries to sneak a peek at Anna’s breasts, but Kyotaro scares him off.
At the library, Anna asks Kyotaro for his fan, who reluctantly gives it. When she remarks that it smells good, Kyotaro leans in to smell it and notices she is wearing her swimsuit and blushes. Anna receives a call from Chihiro, who comes to the library and hides under the table.
Chihiro sits with Kyotaro, unable to find Anna. He learns that Anna snacks alone because of Chihiro’s allergy to packaged snacks. Chihiro compliments Anna, causing her to come out of hiding with pride.
The school is preparing for its upcoming cultural festival. Because of his excellent handwriting, Anna asks Kyotaro to help create a haunted house poster. Hara draws Anna’s family’s graves on the poster, but Kyotaro takes the fall. A misunderstanding reveals that she wrote common names down, and Anna apologizes to Kyotaro. Kyotaro draws his family graves instead.
The senior who tried to pick up Anna in the first episode invites the girls into the haunted house with him. Kyotaro wonders if he should stop him, given that he was one of the first people who helped pull his cycle out of the water. The girls stick together to protect Anna.
In the library, Kyotaro and Anna, on the city map drawing of what it looked like 80 years ago, learn that their houses are pretty close to each other. Anna takes a picture with Kyotaro, who is shocked and only wants a photo of the map.

The Dangers in My Heart manga by Norio Sakurai was launched in March 2018. It is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
The manga focuses on Kyotaro, a school kid who thinks he is messed up because he often thinks violently about his classmates. Just as he plans how to stab the class’ popular girl, she notices him.
