The Chi Season 5 Episode 4 Recap
The episode starts with a montage of the women of The Chi getting ready to start their day. Jemma’s father is upset with her because she’s late for her SAT exam and thinks she isn’t taking it seriously. Jada sets some boundaries in their relationship and asks Darnell to take her out on a real date.
Victor drops off Peaches at the rehabilitation center. Tracy makes sure she settles in and asks her to get in touch with her should she need anything. Victor worries about Peaches’ sobriety but she reassures him that things will be different this time around. Meanwhile, Jemma blows off her exam and leaves the classroom.
Tierra visits Trinity House and believes that promoting it could be good exposure for the campaign. Emmet helps Keisha balance her studies and parenthood and Keisha’s feelings for him continue to grow. Jemma considers becoming Maisha’a manager after hearing her freestyle at the rap showcase.
