2. Recap of Episode 6 of The Beginning After The End
The latest episode of The Beginning After The End started with Arthur and Tessia heading out with Virion to find a way to contact Arthur’s parents. Tessia’s father was quite furious to know that his own father was entertaining a human, but chose to be quiet out of respect for his father. As the group travelled, they reached a small shack quite separated from the town, which was home to a witch named Rinia Darcassan.

The woman apparently had peculiar abilities that set her apart from other mages. With her help, Arthur was able to contact his parents, who had relocated to a different place. The couple still deeply missed Arthur and were very hurt by the incident with the slave traders. Arthur, too, was overcome with sadness as he told them that he’d return as soon as possible. He told his parents that he loved them, and with the same breath, he asked Virion to take him as his disciple.

On their return to the palace, Tessia and Virion had a long conversation with the king and finally managed to convince him that Arthur was actually a good guy. The king apologised to Arthur for his rudeness and asked him to see the palace as his own home. An overjoyed Tessia showed him around the city right after getting her father’s approval. This was quite wholesome as we got to see Tessia and Arthur slowly grow on to each other.

As for Arthur’s apprenticeship under Virion, he was asked to bear with his chest pain for the time being. Virion then told Arthur that he would have to undergo hellish training, but it would be very fruitful. This almost indirectly meant that his training with Virion will probably automatically resolve Arthur’s condition.
3. Speculation of Episode 7 of The Beginning After The End
Since the post-credit scene of the latest episode ended with a tiny teaser of the three-year time skip, we can expect the upcoming episode to be in a completely new timeline. From the looks of it, Tessia has grown fully attached to Arthur, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Arthur, too, had feelings for her.

More importantly, since Arthur is getting trained by someone as skilled as Virion, three years under his guidance would’ve truly nurtured him into a monster. The upcoming episode will likely go into how much Arthur has grown in three years. If we’re lucky, we may also get to see something related to the egg that Silvia entrusted to Arthur.
