Episode 7 Speculation
Both Amane and Mahiru have started feeling closer to each other, though neither wants to admit it out loud. Mahiru admitted that she feels comfortable around Amane and thus, she may be ready to tell Amane about her household situation and her past. They will both learn to lean on each other and ask for help more.
Since spring has arrived, it seems that they may even go cherry blossom watching together. Kadowaki has realized how genuine and helpful Amane is, so they might become friends soon as well.

Episode 6 Recap
Chitose asks Amane his preference for chocolates for the approaching Valentine’s Day, and Amane tells her that he doesn’t like anything too sweet.
While they have tea, Chitose asks Mahiru if she will give chocolates to anyone, and she replies that she does, only to her female friends. She adds that she will give chocolate to Chitose as well, and Chitose cheerfully tells her she will as well.
Amane and Itsuki talk about how Kadowaki has his desk full of chocolates since he is so popular. Amane is horrified when Itsuki tells him that Chi has made Russian Chocolate for him, and he begrudgingly takes them from Chi. Seeing Kadowaki conflicted, Amane lends him his plastic bag to carry all the chocolates.
At the apartment, Mahiru gets too embarrassed handing the chocolates directly to Amane and leaves them at his door before running away. He finds that she made orangettes for him since she heard how he doesn’t care about sweet things. He eats them happily.
Kadowaki thanks Amane the next day. Itsuki teases Amane for carrying the bag and getting too domesticated. Amane asks him how he fares with chores, and he tells him that she will figure it out when they get married.
Amane decides to get Mahiru something for White Day in return, though he warns her that it might not be anything too good. Mahiru assures him that she cherishes every gift he gives her. She learns that Amane’s birthday was in November, and he didn’t tell her, so she promises to celebrate the next one.
White Day arrives, and after thinking hard, Amane dresses up and gives Mahiru a flower bracelet which she likes a lot. She also finds a “do-anything-you-want” ticket inside. She asks him to put the bracelet on her and smiles, leading Amane to blush too.
After having some fries with Itsuki, Amane arrives back home. Mahiru welcomes him back, and he thinks about how she looks like a young wife. Mahiru chides him for having junk food before dinner, but he assures her that he will eat everything. Mahiru tells him that he does need more fat on his body.
Amane tells her the same while holding her hand and realizes a second too late that he is touching her. He apologizes fervently, but Mahiru reassures him that she doesn’t mind him touching her, even though she hates the touch of others.
Flustered, Amane runs inside his room, repeating how alike a newlywed wife Mahiru acts.
