Taka and Anzu continued their exploration while Mimihime and Shiro returned inside to brief the remainder of the class about the “outside of the outside.” Dr. Sawatari appeared soon after, joined by Aoshima and other engineers.

Despite the Director’s twisted plans concerning the unborn child, they believed the babies deserved to be handed to Tokio.  Aoshima decided to carry out the “Noah Plan.” She created a plan to protect the academy’s youngsters, but no further specifics were disclosed in this episode.

Kiruko had no idea who she was after what Robin had done to her. She needed to find out whether she was Haruki or Kiriko.

Maru assaulted Robin Inazaki’s lackey on his way to his place. Maru opened the door to see Kiruko nude and her hands bound together by a rope on a bed.

After glancing at her, he snapped and appeared dead within. He cornered Robin and knocked him down with a single punch. Maru continued hitting Robin while he lay there, blood splashing into his face. Maru kept punching without emotion until Kiruko asked him to stop.

Maru had to use his strength to keep himself from hitting Robin. Maru confessed his love once more, but this time he was more mature, claiming that he liked Kiruko for who she was rather than Kiriko or Haruki.

Sawatari handed the baby over to Tokio. The Director threatened its survival and requested that Mina, the AI, take it away. Tokio’s eyes began to light blue, and she began to morph into a monster-like figure while a flesh-like shell encased her and her child.

The Director was also caught in the act, but the clip was deleted before viewers could see the change. Meanwhile, Mimihime fell from a great height, but Shiro caught her and saved her. He professed his feelings for her, and Mimihime reciprocated by giving her a Takahara Academy pin.

Anzu, Shiro, and Taka were in a speedboat, mesmerized by a distant city skyline, confirming that The Calamity had not yet occurred.
