Episode 4 Recap
This episode starts with Takagi and Nishikata talking about the school uniform’s change.
Takagi wanted to put a contest by changing into winter uniforms first, but Nishikata wins by default. Nishikata then challenges Takagi not to say the word cold all day which she accepts.
As the day goes by, Nishikata keeps an eye on Takagi till the end of school.
After school, on their way back, Nishikata tries to make Takagi say the word cold through a combination of words. Takagi adds an extra word before saying the two words, catching Nishikata off guard.
Nishikata then asks the obvious question if Takagi is feeling cold to make her say the word. Only to find Takagi teasing by asking if he’s going to get close to her and warm her up.
Takagi finds Nishikata having his lunch alone and accompanies him in the next part.
As Nishikata enjoys his meal, Takagi puts their special food item on the line if he can guess what filling her rice balls have. Sadly, Nishikata misread the filling being salmon and lost his fried chicken.
Takagi feels bad and states that she will give him her crispy lotus for his penalty. Nishikata blushes when Takagi gives him the dish, thinking she will feed him. Only to find Takagi place the dish in his box and is teased for his thoughts.
In the last part, Nishikata goes to a bathhouse and wonders if Takagi is around recalling their talk before. After his bath, he goes to have juice and gets surprised by Takagi.
Takagi explains that since she takes time to use the bath, she came in early to leave with Nishikata.
On their way back home, Nishikata puts up a contest on the person who blushes loses.
Since it’s pretty dark, Nishikata thinks this is the best opportunity to tease Takagi. Takagi suggests making it easy to tell if the other is blushing and stands close in front of Nishikata.
Nishikata starts to blush, and Takagi asks if she won, looking at his red face. Nishikata finds Takagi’s move foul but says there’s no need to play further. Later, Nishikata tells Takagi he’ll walk her home since it’s pretty late.
There’s a sudden pause between the two which confuses Nishikata. Takagi replies that those lines seem to be what guys tell their girlfriends.
Nishikata gets dumbstruck, but Takagi says she lives close, so it’s okay, and appreciates the offer.
As Takagi says this, she blushes herself and leaves, ensuring Nishikata doesn’t see it. She teases Nishikata one last time saying his face is also red as she heads home.
