The Oracle manipulates Marse in episode 8 of ‘Tales of Wedding Rings.’ In this episode, the Oracle presents Marse with a cursed magic sword.

The sword controls Marse’s brain, forcing him to turn on Satou and attempt to steal the rings. Although Satou can annihilate Marse, he wants to save him from the sword’s control. Simultaneously, a giant sea monster attacks the land of Maasa.

While Hime’s grandpa holds off the sea monster, Satou must try to save Maasa without killing him. With the guidance of the rings, Satou breaks the cursed sword.

1. Episode 9 Release Date

Episode 9 of ‘Tales of Wedding Rings’ will be released on Saturday, March 2, 2024. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Saturday. You can watch ‘Tales of Wedding Rings’ anime on Crunchyroll.

I. Is Tales of Wedding Rings on a Break?

‘Tales of Wedding Rings’ is not on a break this week. Episode 9 has not been delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Episode 9 Speculation

The Imperial Majesty has cut down the Oracle, leaving Satou with one less enemy to worry about. However, depending on the situation, the Empire may or may not be against the Ring King. Satou still has one more ring to collect before reaching his maximum potential.

Hime’s grandpa will lead the way to the next Kingdom after bidding farewell to the land of Maasa. With Marse and Saphira by their side, the Ring King’s party has grown even more significant. However, the Abyss King will do everything possible to prevent Satou from getting the next ring.

On the way to the next Kingdom, Satou will most likely be ambushed by the forces of the Abyss King. With his current strength, however, Satou should be able to defeat all the beasts and carry on. 

3. Recap of Episode 8

The Oracle tells Marse that he must betray Satou for the sake of the Kingdom and his father. The Oracle presents Marse with a magic sword to defeat Satou. Marse is distressed about his options and thinks about his father’s words before the selection of the Ring King.

The magic sword hypnotizes Marse and forces him to follow the Oracle’s plan. The soldiers of the Kingdom fight against a huge Sea Monster and are ambushed by the arrival of a second beast. Satou prepares to battle against the monster while Marse ambushes him from behind.

Hime’s grandpa handles the sea monster while Satou must fight Marse. Satou tries to convince Marse not to fight and realizes he must be being controlled. Satou uses the power of the rings, but Marse’s sword deflects it. The ring tells Satou he can overwhelm Marse with the magic and ultimately destroy him.

However, Satou does not want to kill Marse and tries to convince him instead. Satou purposely gets hit by Marse’s sword, calming him down. Satou assures Marse that he’s still helpful as a part of the Legendary Ring King’s party. The monster attacks the palace and grabs the Princess as hostage.

The Oracle reveals her true motives and tells Marse to trade the rings for Saphira’s life. Marse asks Saphira to marry her while Satou cuts the monster down. The Oracle screams in anger, revealing her Abyss form. Saphir lends the power of the Water Ring to Satou, transforming into a giant dragon.

After all the fights, the Ring King’s party meets with the king of Maasa. The king gives Marse his blessings for his wedding with Saphira. The following night, the Imperial Majesty meets with the Oracle, and he cuts her down.
