Saphir taunts all the other princesses and asks Satou to follow her. Satou must now protect the town as the new King of the Land of Water. Marse’s older brother is the first prince of Gisaras. The Empire has been annexing multiple cities by calling it protection from the Abyss King.

As Satou’s party comes to a stop, a giant tentacle monster appears to attack. However, Satou quickly destroys it using the power of the rings. Saphir introduces Saphira, her twin sister, to Satou and the party. All the other princesses except Hime make fun of Satou’s looks.

Marse appears out of nowhere and tries to plead with Saphira. Saphir talks about the Gisaras Empire and Maasa’s history. Marse had grown close with Saphira and betrayed the Empire. Marse then abandons his role as the Ring King but still tries to convince Saphira to marry him.

Soon after that disaster, the Oracle entered Maasa and controlled the King’s decisions. Assassins are being sent after Satou, but he’s protected from all sides. Satou and the princesses relax at the palace swimming pool the following morning.

Satou meets with Marse and asks him why he abandoned the role of Ring King. Marse feels like the responsibility of Ring King is too large. Moreover, Marse did not want to get in the way of Hime and Satou. The Oracle asks Marse to steal the rings and kill Satou under the cover of the Abyss monsters.
