Satou faces an Abyss Knight in episode 4 of ‘Tales of Wedding Rings’ While leaving the Kingdom of Romca, Satou spots multiple Abyss Monsters invading the city.
With just the power of the Ring of Light, Satou cannot fight an Abyss Knight. One Knight enters the room with the Wind Ring and almost steals it. Luckily, Satou reaches in time to fight the Abyss Knight. Hime notices Satou losing and runs to Nefritis.
Hime manages to convince Nefritis to leave her room and marry Satou. After gaining the power of the Wind Ring, Satou defeats the Abyss Knight.

1. Episode 5 Release Date
Episode 5 of ‘Tales of Wedding Rings’ will be released on Saturday, February 3, 2024. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Saturday. You can watch ‘Tales of Wedding Rings’ anime on Crunchyroll.
I. Is Tales of Wedding Rings on a Break?
‘Tales of Wedding Rings’ is not on a break this week. Episode 5 has not been delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.
2. Episode 5 Speculation
Satou has gained two of the five rings that he needs to become the Ring King. However, the Abyss King sends multiple attacks to each Ring’s home. Satou must quickly rush to the next destination before the Abyss King makes his move. Moreover, there is a new mystery surrounding Hime’s grandpa.
Hime’s grandpa knows a lot about the ancient prophecies and is a significant person in the story. There may even be a possibility of Hime’s grandpa being the one to defeat the Abyss King in the past. Since the grandpa knows all about the Ring’s locations, he may be the one who split them up in the first place.
The next episode will likely entail Satou’s journey to the next kingdom. Hopefully, the next Princess will be more eager to marry Satou, unlike Nefritis, who caused a lot of delay with her shyness.
3. Recap of Episode 4
Hime’s grandpa warns Satou that the Abyss King may invade Romca anytime soon, and they must leave immediately. However, Satou is worried about the Princess’s safety if he goes. Immediately after Satou leaves, the Abyss King sends Knights through the wind barrier.
Satou and Hime kiss before he leaves to fight the Abyss monsters and save the Princess. The Princess is too afraid to leave her room, putting all her faith in Jade to protect her. Jade runs into an Abyss Knight as he reaches for the Wind Ring but immediately gets knocked back.
To protect his parents’ legacy, Jade gets up and continues fighting. Satou returns just in time to fight the Abyss King. Satou keeps getting knocked back by the Abyss King’s power. Hime runs through the castle to Nefritis’s room to ask her to marry Satou. Hime tells Nefritis her story as the Light Princess and tries to make Nefritis trust her.
Nefritis comes to the Wind Ring’s room with a giant hammer and crushes her parent’s statues. Nefritis picks up the Ring and runs to Satou, kissing him. Satou puts the Ring on his hand and gets a massive power-up. Satou can manipulate the wind and attack the Abyss Knight with his new strength.
Princess Smaragdi comes to Satou’s room and expresses her gratitude. The Abyss Knight was Smaragdi, being controlled by a cursed black ring. Satou starts feeling dizzy, and Nefritis suggests that he visit the springs to relax. Nefritis asks Hime how to be a good wife, and she tries to show off.
However, Satou doesn’t want Hime to feel peer-pressured and tells her to relax. Smaragdi talks with Hime’s grandpa as he entrusts her with an ancient locket. Nefritis visits her parents’ resting place and says farewells to Jade. Nefritis joins Satou’s team as they head out to the next kingdom.
