A controversial news channel is taken over by armed gunmen. The channel was notorious for promoting conspiracy theories. Hirsch, one of its prominent media figures, had claimed that a school shooting had been a hoax. The gunmen were the fathers of some of the children that lost their lives in the shooting.

The victims were tired of such an immense family tragedy being treated like it was a hoax and decided to expose Hirsch for belittling and discrediting their childrens’ death. Despite the truth coming out, the producers of the channel tried to gain attention from the hostage takeover and kept their cameras on despite the SWAT team telling them to switch them off.
