In this article, I will try to answer these questions and more based on my predictions for season 4 of Superman and Lois. Read on to find out what will happen in the next season of this amazing show!
1. Season 3, Episode 13 Synopsis/Speculation
The biggest cliffhanger of season 3 is the epic fight between Superman and Doomsday, the monstrous creature created by Lex Luthor from Bizarro’s corpse. The last we see of them, they crash into the moon, with Superman barely holding on to his life.
Season 4 will likely open with the resolution of this battle and that Superman will somehow manage to defeat Doomsday, but not without paying a heavy price.
Maybe he will lose some of his powers, suffer a severe injury, or even die temporarily. Whatever happens, it will have a massive impact on his family and the world.
Lex Luthor will surely be the main villain of season 4. He wants to kill Superman and take over the world with his army of loyal followers and advanced technology. He also has a personal vendetta against Lois Lane, who exposed his crimes and ruined his reputation.
I predict that Lex will use his resources and influence to manipulate public opinion against Superman, framing him as a dangerous alien threat. He will also try to kidnap Lois and use her as leverage against Clark. He might even attempt to clone Superman or create a new Bizarro to fight him.
Elsewhere, Clark and Lois will have to deal with the aftermath of their son Jordan’s reckless actions in season 3 when he revealed his powers to the world and became a celebrity overnight.
Jordan will understand the wrath of the bullet he took in season 3, and it will be similar to when his father came out to people.
He will also have to deal with his complicated relationship with Sarah, who broke up after discovering his secret.
On the other hand, Jon will try to support his brother and parents, but he will also feel left out and insecure as the family’s only ‘human’ member. He will seek a new purpose and direction in his life, maybe by joining the fire department or pursuing a career in journalism.

2. Season 4, Episode 1 Release Date
The release date for Season 4 is not known at the moment, but based on the previous seasons, we can make an educated guess that the show will air sometime in the first quarter of 2024.
Season 1 premiered in February 2021, Season 2 in March 2022, and Season 3 in March 2023.
However, due to the ongoing writers’ strike and budget cuts, the production of the new season may be delayed or affected.
3. Is the series on a break?
Season 3 of Superman & Lois just aired its finale, and the show will be on a temporary hiatus until the already confirmed season 4 begins!
