Superman ends up getting lured into a trap and captured by General Anderson. Anderson’s animosity towards Superman has grown into complete rivalry as he takes extreme measures to get to Bizarro.
Superman and Tal are able to escape their cells, however, Tal’s injuries give Anderson the perfect opportunity to kill Bizarro. Lois finds out the truth about Jonathon’s use of X-Kryptonite.

Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 8 Speculation
General Anderson, who was already facing heat from his superiors for his failure to capture Bizarro, abuses his power even more and takes X-Kryptonite himself.
He severely wounds Tal with Kryptonite bullets and while Superman is busy saving his brother, he kills Bizarro.
Things are about to get a lot worse for Superman as Anderson takes the pendant he took from Bizarro and offers it to cult leader Ally, suggesting they join forces.
Superman will now have to tackle not only Anderson who has gone completely rogue but Ally too, who is twice as powerful with both the pendants now in her possession.

Chapter 7 of the Superman & Lois Season 2 series, titled “Into Oblivion”, has been released on Tuesday, Mar 22, 2022 at 5:00 pm PDT.

Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 7 Recap
General Anderson’s growing frustration with Superman not aligning himself to the ‘military’s interests’ pushes him over the edge and he forcibly takes Superman into custody after luring him into a trap.
He’s being held in the same prison as Tal-Rho. Superman tries to warn Anderson about Ally being the real enemy, but he’s more focused on capturing Bizarro.
Meanwhile, Lois starts to pick up on the growing tensions between Jordan and Jonathon.
To make matters worse, Jonathan is facing expulsion after he takes the fall for his girlfriend, who was selling performance-enhancing drugs at school. Jordan tells Lois that Jonathon took the drugs too, which is why he’d performed so well at the game.
Anderson begins torturing Tal-Rho in an attempt to get Superman to spill Bizarro’s location. To buy them some time, Superman gives him his arctic Fortress of solitude.
Superman and Tal-Rho lure the guards in and escape after destroying the red solar radiation lights that were used to capture him. While Superman is busy saving his brother, a rogue Anderson kills Bizarro.
